Thanks for letting me listen in on this exercise. We were already booked for patients when this exercise was announced so I cannot stay on for the hot wash but hope to catch up on comments later if a transcript is available. I think this was a good practical exercise most of which could happen or has already happened to us in parts. Those of my staff that could listen in had a lively discussion about how we would handle these issues. Since we are part of a large organization most of our discussion was focussed on who we would need to contact to allow us to make the decisions we thought were appropriate such as canceling the rest of our afternoon, getting waiting patients to safe parts of the building and sheltering in place. Worth doing one of these again with more notice to primary care practices so they can block their schedule before its opened (usually need more than 30 days notice) AND the music was a nice touch. ( no staff picture cause they are checking in afternoon patients)
